Home and Office Intercoms

The PRO700 series is a microprocessor intercom with the maximum capacity of 40-AA701 masters (shown) and/or remote stations. There is no central exchange required.

The Alpha Communications® PRO700 series intercom is designed for large system capacities of up to 40 intercom master stations in total. You may combine masters and/or remote stations, for an intermixed system that meets your exact needs. Each master station has its own microprocessor circuitry, and requires no central exchange. Simple, loop wiring makes the PRO700 system really easy to install.

Choose from AA701 (Beige) desk/wall masters or AA702 surface/flush industrial masters, and three (3) different remote stations for 1-call or 3-call capacities. Each master station features ALL-CALL (standard), last number redial, privacy, call-back, call reply, group call (up to 2 groups), camp-on, paging capbilities, hurry-up, priority call, microphone cut-out, remote control capabilities and features a convenient digital call display.

For private communication, the AA701 (and/or AA701A) master stations may be removed from their desk or wall mounting, and may be hand-held like a standard telephone. When used in this fashion, the loudspeaker is automatically cut-off, and a private conversation may be held.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The intercom system shall be Alpha Communications® PRO700 series, or approved equal. The system shall be a microprocessor controlled system, with no central exchange required for system operation. System shall have a capacity of one (1) talk link, and up to 40 master stations. Master Stations shall be model AA701 (Beige) for (Desk/Wall) mounting, or model AA702 (Beige) for (Surface/Flush) wall mounting. Master stations shall feature ALLCALL (standard), last number redial, privacy, call-back, call reply, group call (up to 2 groups), camp-on, paging capbilities, hurry-up, priority call, microphone cut-out, remote control capabilities and features a convenient digital call display. Flush mount beige masters shall require the use of a model BF636 (Beige) flush adaptor.

System shall be capable of an optional music distribution feature (with compatible music source supplied by the contractor).

Remote stations shall be model AB708 (Beige) 1-call type for (Surface/Flush) wall mounting, or model AB709 (Beige) 3-call type for (Surface/Flush) wall mounting, or AB707 (Beige) 3-call type for (Desk/Wall) mounting. Flush mount beige remotes shall require the use of a model WPF-6 (Beige) flush adaptor. When the AB707 (Beige) masters are to be wall mounted, they shall require the use of the model GF632 wall mounting bracket.

Contractor shall furnish and install all necessary power supplies, control units, etc. as required for proper system operation. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.

REQUIRED COMPONENTS:

AA701	Beige Master Station. Up to 40 per system. When desk mounted, you must add a model KB170 wall jack and a model BF640 connector cable. The KB170 mounts over a single gang electrical 'gem' box. When wall mounting, you must add a model GF632 (Beige) wall mount bracket.

AA702	Industrial (Beige) Master Station. Up to 40 per system. Designed for industrial use. This surface mount master station has a circuit board specially treated with anticorrosive lacquer. When flush mounting, you must add a model BF636 (Beige) flush mount adaptor plate.
PSDC24-2.5	2.5 Amp DC System Power Supply. Use one (1) for systems with up to 10 total master and/or remote stations combined. Operates on 120VAC primary power.
PSDC24-5	5 Amp DC System Power Supply. Use one (1) for systems with up to 20 total master and/or remote stations combined. Operates on 120VAC primary power.

PSDC24-12	12 Amp DC System Power Supply. Use one (1) for systems with up to 40 total master and/or remote stations combined. Operates on 120VAC primary power.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS:

AB708	1-Call Remote Station (Beige). The AB708 is basically the same as the AA702 Industrial Master Station, without the display, and the keypad has only one (1) preprogrammed dialling button. It can be used indoors or outdoors and surface mounts right on the surface of the wall. When flush mounting, you must add a model BF636 (Beige) flush mount adaptor plate.

AB709	3-Call Remote Station (Beige). The AB709 is basically the same as the AA702 Industrial Master Station, without the display, and the keypad has only three (3) preprogrammed dialling buttons. It can be used indoors or outdoors and surface mounts right on the surface of the wall. When flush mounting, you must add a model BF636 (Beige) flush mount adaptor plate.

AB707	1-Call Remote Station (Beige). The AB707 is basically the same as the AA701 Basic Master Station, without the display, and the keypad has only one (1) preprogrammed dialling button. It can be used indoors or outdoors and surface mounts right on the surface of the wall. When wall mounting, you must add a model GF632 (Beige) wall mount bracket.
GF632	Beige Wall Mounting Bracket. Used with AA701 masters and/or AB707 remotes for surface wall mounting.
BF636	Beige Flush Adaptor Plate. Used with AA702 masters and/or AB708 and/or AB709 remotes for flush wall mounting.

WIRING REQUIREMENTS:
From master to master, and master to remote, run 2-twisted pair #24AWG common wires, regardless of number of stations on the system. If you will be using the optional music distribution, add 1-twisted pair #24AWG common wire, making a total of 3-twisted pairs. This main cable can be looped or home-run.
