The PK724 is used with the IR704B and IR704BD and IR804B series residential intercom systems. It has adjustable front and rear door electronic chimes built-in.

The Alpha Communications®/Tektone PK724 amplifiers are used with the IR704B, IR704BD, and IR804B series residential intercom stations. It features a built-in front and rear door electronic chime, room to room communication, monitoring, and door answering with hands-free reply. The model IR704BD inside station also has a built-in momentary door release pushbutton. A compatible music source (provided by customer) can be added to the PK724, with the use of the VC704 adaptor. The PK724 operates on 16VAC (10VA) low-voltage Class II wiring. For permanent transformer mounting use our Model #SS102A (U.L. Listed) transformer. For plug-in transformer connection use our Model #SS105B (U.L. Listed) transformer. When using the IR704BD stations (with a door release button), the same transformer can be used to power a standard 16VAC door opener. If another type (or voltage) of low-voltage door opener is used instead of the normal 16VAC door opener, contractor must supply a separate door opener transformer/power supply. The PK724's connections are done with an advanced plug-in wiring harness connector.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The power supply/amplifier shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone 
model PK724, or approved equal, and shall provide amplification, 
control and power circuits needed to operate the entire intercom 
system. The amplifier shall feature integrated circuit amplification, 
built-in front and rear door electronic chimes and adjustable volume 
control. Low voltage wiring shall be used and a plug-in wiring harness 
shall be provided for installation wiring. Contractor shall observe all 
local electrical codes.




OPTIONAL COMPONENTS
VC704     Music Input Adaptor. Used when customer wishes to connect their own compatible
	(mono) music input source. Mounts on single gang flush electrical back box. Has
	variable volume control built-in. Requires 1/4" phono plug type connector.
