The PK612A is a light-duty lamp flasher and is used with a variety of emergency-call systems and annunciators. It is designed for non-continuous operation.

The Alpha Communications®/Tektone PK612A lamp flasher is a light-duty lamp flasher, and is used with a variety of emergency-call systems and annunciators. It is designed for systems where continuous operation is not expected. One of its main applications is for our CM800 series emergency-call systems, when a smoke or heat detector (or other fire alarm indicating device) is tied into our SF117/3B series emergency pullcords. This provides a flashing lamp indication of a fire or smoke alarm at the annunciator panel, and at the dome lights. The PK612A operates on 24VDC low-voltage Class II wiring, using our model #PK601A 24VDC power supply. All PK612A connections are positive screw terminal type.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The lamp flasher unit shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone model 
PK612A, or approved equal, and shall provide a (non-continuous) 
flashing lamp indication, on the system's indicating lamp devices.


Low voltage wiring shall be used and positive screw terminals shall 
be provided for installation wiring. The PK612A shall be mountable 
right to the surface of the wall or in the optional model IH151N U.L.® 
Listed junction box cabinet. Contractor shall provide the PK601A 
power supply (with its associated SS106 transformer), to power the 
PK612A flasher. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.



REQUIRED COMPONENTS
PK601A  24VDC POWER SUPPLY. One (1) required to power each 
	PK612A. Each PK601A requires a model SS106 transformer.


	
OPTIONAL COMPONENTS
IH151N   U.L.® Listed steel junction box cabinet, in a painted Beige finish. Used to house and
	protect the PK612A and its wiring connections.
