The PK502B is used with our PK543 or PK292A or PK205 series apartment intercom amplifiers when 2 to 8 entrance panels are required. Used in addition to apt. amplifier.

The Alpha Communications®/Tektone PK502B multi-entrance adaptors are used with our PK543, PK292A and PK205 series amplifiers only. They provide audio intercom and door release switching for two (2) to eight (8) entrances. The PK502B adaptors are used in addition to the system amplifier, and power off of the same transformer. A plug-in wiring harness makes installation quick and easy. You must add one (1) PK505B switching adaptor to each entrance, after the first entrance, up to a maximum of eight (8) entrances (using a maximum of seven PK502B units).

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The multi-entrance adaptor(s) shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone model PK502B, or
approved equal. Unit(s) shall provide the control and power circuits needed to switch the audio
and door release functions, to the calling entrance station. Unit(s) shall be used in addition to
standard system amplifier. Low voltage wiring shall be used and a plug-in wiring harness shall be
provided for installation wiring. The PK502B unit(s) shall be installed adjacent to the intercom
amplifier. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.
