The PK400 is used with the SM401, SM404, SM406 and SM411 series intercom only. It provides the power, tone signaling and L.E.D. power for the whole system.

The Alpha Communications®/Tektone PK400 power supply/control unit is used only with the SM401, SM404, SM406 and SM411 (series) intercom systems. The PK400 is used to provide tone signal, L.E.D. illumination and system power for the entire system. One (1) PK400 is required per system. The PK400 operates on 24VAC (30VA) low-voltage Class II wiring, using our model #SS106 transformer. All PK400 connections are done with a supplied plug-in wiring harness.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The power supply/control unit shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone model PK400, or
approved equal, and shall provide tone, control and power circuits needed to operate the entire
intercom system. The PK400 shall provide DC power and tone and lamp signal functions.Low
voltage wiring shall be used and a plug-in wiring harness shall be provided for installation wiring.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.




REQUIRED COMPONENTS
SS106   	24VAC PIGTAIL TRANSFORMER. One (1) required to power each PK400. 


	



OPTIONAL COMPONENTS
IH151N  U.L.® Listed steel junction box cabinet, in a painted Beige finish. Used to house and
protect the PK400 and its wiring connections.
