The PK352 is a battery charger for use with the NC300 microprocessor nurse-call system. It requires (1) BA001 battery, (1) SS106 transformer and (1) IH151N cabinet.

The PK352 is a battery charger for use with the NC300 microprocessor nurse-call system. The PK352 together with one (1) BA001 battery and one (1) SS106 transformer mounted in a IH151N housing, form an assembly. In the event of a complete CPE failure, the battery charger assembly will automatically continue supplying power to one (1) NC303 master station. This will enable the master to continue annunciating a CPE fault both audibly and visually. The battery charger assembly is necessary to complete the supervision of the "Code Blue" circuit of the NC300 Nurse Call System. Complete supervision of the "Code Blue" circuit is required by many facilities including all VA hospitals.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The battery charger shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone model number PK352. When used
with the appropriate Alpha Communications® components it shall become part of a battery char-
ger assembly. This assembly shall provide continuous power to any NC303 nurse call master in
the NC300 nurse call system in the event of a complete CPE failure. The nurse call master shall
then continue to both audibly and visually annunciate a CPE fault condition.


The PK352 shall be U.L. 1069 listed to the latest 4th Edition Standards. Contractor shall observe
all local electrical codes.
