Fully Microprocessor-Based Audio-Visual Nurse-Call System. Supervised loop wiring. U.L. 1069 Listed. Can interface to printer or pocket-page system. Code Blue capababilites.

The Alpha Communications®/Tektone NC300 series Tek-Micro-Care™ microprocessor-based audio-visual nurse-call system provides all of the most desirable ergonomic features and functions required by today's health care administrative professionals. The NC300 addresses the needs of both patient and nurse by combining ease of operation, accurate two-way voice communication, and an English language format prominently displayed on a high-resolution, compact CRT. The NC300 system also includes masters that incorporate SPILL-PROOF membrane switches mounted on an attractive housing. The keys are colored and grouped accordingly for ease of operation, and the handset is an integral part of the master station. The heart of the system is the Central Processing Unit (CPU). CPU's are available with or without dual system networking and serial data ports. Each CPU supports four (4) primary CRT/masters and four (4) secondary CRT/masters. Total NC300 system capacity is up to 512 addressable points. All master stations have the ability to select specific areas and/or rooms, set patient priority level and room status, or change and reassign any station within the system. Selection or reassignment of paging zones, choosing from selected areas, or All-Call is equally simplified by user-friendly, menu-driven programming procedures. Many of the more commonly used functions are easily selectable by depressing the appropriate keys on the SPILL-PROOF membrane switch. Masters also include ALPHA-character selection for ALPHA-NUMERIC room programming and calling. All programming on any master, or any portion of each menu may be protected by user-selectable passwords, to prevent tampering or unauthorized changes. Coupling all of these features and functions with the installed cost benefit provided by multiplexed wiring and plug-in terminations means you have chosen the most efficient and cost-effective nurse-call system on the market.
