ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The audible/visual nurse-call system shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone NC110N series,
or approved equal. At each of the bed locations, contractor shall furnish and install a model
SF100C single bedside station and single (SF301/8) or dual (SF302) call-cord (or other specialty type
cord as required), or SF102 double bedside station and two (SF301/8) call-cords each (or other specialty type cords as required). At each bath location, contractor shall furnish and install a model SF155B
(push/pull) or SF337C (shower type) emergency-call station . At each
remote location, contractor shall furnish and install a model LI381 corridor dome light. Where
required, contractor shall furnish and install the necessary LI382 corridor zone light(s).
At the main nurse's location, contractor shall furnish and install one (1) model NC110N/xxx
(xxx=number of lamp indicators-must be in multiples of 4) annunciator with appropriate backbox
(specify flush, surface or desk mounting). Annunciator shall have indicator lights no less than
5/8" by 5/8" in size, to allow for positive room recognition, when activated. Unit shall have built-in test
button(s) to allow for testing of all indicator lamps, as often as desired. System
shall be U.L. listed. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.
