Indoor Remote Station with Momentary Plastic Call Button. White Plastic Finish Can be Flush or Surface Mounted with the appropriate back box/housing.

The Alpha Communications®/Tektone IR501B and IR510B series indoor remotes are designed to surface or flush mount, and to provide two-way communication from a variety of types of intercom systems.

The IR501B remotes are 3-wire or 4-wire type and are normally used with systems such as the IR704B/PK724, 'EK' series music-intercoms, IR204C/PK543 and the SM103B/BD Tek-Trio masters. The IR501B remotes can be converted into the IR510B 2-wire type, by the addition of a model EC105 non-polarized capacitor.

The IR510B remotes are 2-wire type, and are normally used with systems such as the SM201B, SM203B, SM205/SM210 series, and SM400 series.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
Remote station(s) shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone model IR501B or IR510B or approved equal. Station faceplate shall be high-impact ABS plastic in a White finish. A single momentary action, plastic push-button shall be provided for call function. The speaker/micro- phone shall be a 3.50" (89mm) paper cone, high-sensitivity type with excellent voice-frequency response. Screw terminals shall be provided for wiring terminations.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS:
EC105 NON-POLARIZED CAPACITOR. Required when using the IR501B remotes with the SM201B, SM203B, SM205/SM210 series or SM400 series master stations, for a 2-wire configuration, when the IR510B remotes are not available.

WIRING REQUIREMENTS:
The IR501B remotes can be a 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire type, depending upon system being used. The IR510B remotes are only a 2-wire type. See individual system wiring diagram for more complete wiring information.
