The IR151B and IR152B patient stations are used with the NC150N & NC200N series nurse-call systems. They can be used with the SF301/8 call cord set(s).

The Alpha Communications® IR151B Patient Station provides for efficient use of the nursing staff by permitting fast and reliable audio communication between nurse and patient. Calling the nurse is accomplished by pressing the call button on the end of a 8 to 10 foot long callcord. A non-resettable call is registered if the call cord is accidentally removed from its jack. Call-placed assurance and intercom operation is indicated by reliable solid state LED indicator lamps. The speaker/microphone is sensitive enough to assure clear conversations even with weak patients. A call reset button is also provided on the rugged flame retardant type ABS White Plastic faceplate. Same specifications and features as the IR151B except that it includes two call cord jacks and two call-placed indicators for use with two patient beds (in close proximity to each other).

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS

Patient Stations shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone IR151B and/or IR152B.
Model IR151B shall contain call-placed and intercom in-use indicators, cancel button,
call cord jack and a 2.50" speaker/microphone with voice response. Model IR152B
shall include all of above with an additional call cord jack and call-placed indicator.
Both models are designed to flush mount over the model IH353 flush box with IH352 ring.

Removal of a cord, either accidentally or intentionally, will place a call, which can
be canceled only by replacing the cord or its equivalent into the call jack. All
functions shall be mounted on a rugged (White) ABS plastic faceplate. A plug-in wiring
harness shall be used for electrical connections. Both models shall be U.L.
Listed 1069, to the latest standards.

REQUIRED COMPONENTS:

SF301/8 8 foot call cord set (with pillow clip) and 1/4" phono plug (or equivalent).
(1) required for each IR151B, (2) required for each IR152B
