Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

The IR150N remote Staff Station is used with the NC150N & NC200N series nurse-call systems and the NC150R area of refuge emergency systems.

The Alpha Communications® IR150N Staff Station may be used to provide communication between the Nurse Call Master Control Station (or Area of Refuge Master) and utility or examination rooms, kitchen, or any other remote (staff) location needed. A call button is provided to initiate calls and a reset button to cancel calls. A solid state call-placed indicator provides call assurance. A sensitive speaker microphone permits hands-free communication. The reliable solid state circuitry is mounted on a rugged extruded aluminum panel with black speaker grille.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS


Staff stations shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone IR150N or approved equal. 
Station features shall include solid state call placed and intercom in-use indicators, 
call button, cancel button, and 3.50" speaker/microphone with voice response. 
All functions shall be provided by solid state circuitry mounted on a printed circuit 
board. All components of the station shall be mounted on a rugged extruded aluminum 
faceplate with black speaker grill. Positive screw terminals shall be used for electrical 
connections.


Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.
