Plastic 4-Wire Apt. Station. Can be flush or surface mounted. Features large 3.50" Speaker and Tamper-Resistant Mounting Screws and Universal Graphic Symbols.

The IR104C apartment stations can be flush, surface or desk mounted and combine modern styling with ease of operation to provide natural, clear voice communication and positive door release operation. Each push button has two (2) labels explaining its function, an English word and a universal graphic symbol. Advanced circuitry and versatility permits use in large or small buildings, with one or with several entrances. A wide variety of optional accessories is available to provide additional functions such as multi-entrance operation, post office door release, and magnetic (fail safe type) door release capabilities.

Construction:	High-Impact ABS plastic faceplate (White).
Controls	Individually replaceable push-buttons with self-wiping plated contacts. Identified (with English word and Universal graphic symbol) for TALK, LISTEN and DOOR functions.
Speaker/Mic:	3.50" (89mm) paper cone speaker with voice response, Model SK013.
Mounting:	Mounts flush to wall using IH101 flush back box or IH102 flush mounting ring. Can be surface mounted using IH700W surface back box (painted White). Can be desk mounted using IH400A White plastic Desk Cabinet.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
Apartment stations shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone model IR104C or approved equal, equipped with momentary action push-buttons for TALK, LISTEN, and DOOR operation. Each push-button hall have both English and Universal Graphic Symbol imprinting. The speaker/ microphone shall be a 3.5" high-sensitivity type with voice-frequency response. Screw terminal connections shall be provided for positive wiring termination. The station shall be molded of high-impact, flame retardant ABS plastic, in a fog white finish. Stations shall be (flush or surface or desk) mounted using the appropriate back box or housing.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS:

PK502B	Multi-Entrance Relay Adaptor (use 1 for each additional entry panel after 1st panel--maximum of 8 entrances). No additional transformer needed.
PK407A	Specialty Relay Adaptor. Used when connecting a door opener other than a 16VAC type to system. One (1) required for each building entry door opener.

WIRING REQUIREMENTS:
Apartment riser wiring shall be 3-common #22AWG and 1 selective wire #22AWG, for each station connected to the riser cable. Add 1-#22AWG common wire if 2nd tone signal will be used with optional apartment pushbuttons, to signal apartments when visitor is at apartment door. See wiring diagram no.
