Indoor Remote Station without any Call Button. White Plastic Finish. Can be Flush or Surface Mounted with the appropriate back box/housing.

The Alpha Communications®/Tektone IR100B series indoor remotes are designed to surface or flush mount, and to provide two-way communication from a variety of types of intercom systems.

The IR100B remotes are 2-wire type only and are normally used with system such as the IR704B/PK724, 'EK' series music-intercoms, IR204C/PK543 and the SM103B/BD Tek-Trio masters.

When used with systems such as the SM201B, SM203B, and SM205/SM210 series, they require the addition of a model EC105 non-polarized capacitor.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
Remote station(s) shall be Alpha Communications®/Tektone model IR100B or approved equal. Station faceplate shall be high-impact ABS plastic in a White finish. The speaker/microphone shall be a 3.50" (89mm) paper cone, high-sensitivity type with excellent voice-frequency response. Pigtails shall be provided for wiring terminations.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS:
EC105 NON-POLARIZED CAPACITOR. Required when using the IR501B remotes with the SM201B, SM203B, SM205/SM210 or SM400 series master stations, for a 2-wire configuration, when the IR510B remotes are not available.

WIRING REQUIREMENTS:
The IR501B remotes can be a 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire type, depending upon system being used. The IR510B remotes are only a 2-wire type. See individual system wiring diagram for more complete wiring information.
