It is used for the SM205/SM210/SM400 series intercoms and the DM228 and IR804B The Alpha Communications® model IH110R is a flush mounting ring, made of heavy gauge steel, in a galvanized finish. It is used with the SM205, SM205D, SM205NR, SM205DNR, SM210, SM210D, SM210NR, SM210DNR, SM404, SM406, SM411, DM228, DM001, DM002, DM003 and IR804B type stations only. It is designed to be fastened to a wooden or metal wall stud, and can be installed before or after the sheetrock has already been applied.
