The Alpha Communications® model IH101 is a popular flush mounting box, made of heavy gauge steel, in a galvanized finish. It is used with a variety of indoor intercom remote stations, including those in the 'IR1' and 'IR7' series (and others). It can also be used with some outdoor remote stations. Convenient knockouts on the top and bottom of the box, make it easy to attach to standard electrical EMT box connectors.

The IH101 is primarily used in applications where the station is to be flush mounted right next to a wooden or metal stud. For existing sheetrock or wood panelled walls, or applications where the backbox cannot be attached to a stud, we recommend the IH102 flush mounting ring.
