Apt. Intercom Stations (Handset Type)

2-Wire Apt. Handset Station. Available in White, Grey, Ivory or Brown. Mounts right on Surface of Wall. Can be flush or desk mounted with optional adaptors.

The Alpha Communications®/S.T.R.™ HT2009/2 handsets are designed to work as an apartment type handset intercom station. They are available in White, Grey, Ivory or Brown colors. These attractive 2-wire handsets easily surface mount right on the wall or over a single gang flush electrical back box (or plaster ring). Handsets can be changed to desk mount with the addition of a model TZ1003 desk adaptor, or can be flush mounted with the addition of a model UM1004 flush housing/trim assembly. All HT2009/2 handsets feature textured finish (to minimize scratches and fingerprints), electric buzzer signaling (adjustable), heavy duty coiled cord with strain relief and (2) two momentary button switches. These switches can be used for door release, or other signaling functions, depending upon system configuration. With the addition of a low-cost Model R2007 Alphatone™ chime adaptor, you can easily change the electric buzzer to a modern warble chime tone sound.
