5 or 10 Button Handset Station. Available in White, Grey, Ivory or Brown. Mounts right on Surface of Wall. Can be flush or desk mounted with optional adaptors.

The Alpha Communications®/S.T.R. HT2006 Series handsets are designed to work as a home or office type handset intercom station or with or without paging capabilities for industrial and commercial applications. Choose from White, Grey, Ivory or Brown in either a 5-button (HT2006/5) or 10-button(HT2006/10) version. Handset shown is the 10-button HT2006/10 model. These attractive handsets easily surface mount right on the wall or over a single gang flush electrical back box (or plaster ring). Handsets can be changed to desk mount with the addition of a model TZ1006 series desk adaptor, or can be flush mounted with the addition of a Model UM1004 flush housing/trim assembly. All HT2006 series handsets feature textured finish (to minimize scratches and fingerprints), electric buzzer signaling (adjustable), heavy duty coiled cord with strain relief and five (5) or ten(10) momentary button switches. These switches can be used for calling from handset to handset, door release, paging or other signaling functions, depending upon system configuration. Signaling from a door speaker to the HT2006 handsets is accomplished with the addition of a low-cost Model R2006 Alphatone chime adaptor.

    REQUIRED COMPONENTS:
NH908A AMPLIFIER (1 per system), for systems without any door stations, for handset to handset communication only. Installs in a separate central equipment location.
    --------OR--------
NH208TVU AMPLIFIER (1 per system), for systems with (1) or more door stations, as well as handset to handset communication. Installs in a separate central equipment location. SS106
    --------OR--------
SS146 16VAC TRANSFORMER. 1 required for each NH908A or NH208TVU system amplifier. SS146 is required for any DV4 paging adaptors that may be used.

    OPTIONAL COMPONENTS:
????? Lobby Entry Panel (1 per building entry). See catalog section on Lobby Panels.
DO-001 (or equivalent) 16VAC Door Release (used with NH208TVU amplified systems only).
UM1004 Flush Mount handset Adaptor with flush box.
TZ1006 Desk Adaptor for HT2006 series handset. Specify model TZ1006/5 or TZ1006/10.
TU1007A Multi-Entrance Relay Adaptor (use 1 for each entry panel after 1st panel--maximum of 8 entrances). No additional transformer needed.
R2006 Alphatone™ Adaptor. Required to be field installed into each HT2006 handset that will be called from any door station(s). Required in NH208TVU type systems only.
PK407A Specialty Relay Adaptor. Used when connecting a door opener other than a 16VAC type to system. One (1) required for each building entry door opener (with NH208TVU type systems).
DV4 4-Zone Paging Adaptor. Used in addition to all other system components, when paging from one or more handsets is required. Has 10W of audio output split between 1-4 zones. Output of DV4 can be sent into one or more public address amplifiers for larger paging requirements. Each DV4 requires its own SS146 (40VA) transformer.

    WIRING REQUIREMENTS:
For NH908A type systems: wiring between handsets shall be 4-common #22AWG and 1 selective wire #22AWG, for each handset station connected on the system. For example, a system with 8- HT2006/10 handsets would require 4-common and 8-selective wires for a total of 12 wires (minimum).

For NH208TVU systems: use the same wiring as shown above for the NH908A systems (between handsets), and add 1-#22AWG wire for each handset pushbutton that will activate an electric door release, add 1-#22AWG wire for each pushbutton (at any entry door) that will selectively signal to one or more handsets connected to that pushbutton. In the illustration shown above for 8- HT2006/10 handsets, if you had an 8-button front entry panel and a door release you would add 1 door opener wire, and 8 selective call button wires, for an additional 9 wires added to the original 12, for a minimum wiring requirement of 21 wires.

For NH908A and/or NH208TVU systems: Add one more #22AWG wire for each of the other HT2006 pushbuttons will be used for any other signaling purposes, such as paging, etc. See the individual system wiring diagram for more complete wiring information.
