The DPS-2 is used with the S.T.R. type video-intercom systems only when 2 to 8 entrance video panels are required. Used in addition to system amplifier & TU1007A

The Alpha Communications®/S.T.R.™ DPS-2 multi-entrance adaptors are used with our S.T.R.™ series video-intercom systems only. They provide video (camera) switching for two (2) to eight (8) entrances or remote cameras. The DPS-2 adaptors are used in addition to the system amplifier, and power off of the same transformer. No additional transformer needed. The DPS-2 video switchers must be used with the TU1007A audio/door opener switchers. You need (1) DPS-2 for each TU1007A adaptor being used. You must use one (1) DPS-2 switching adaptor for (2) camera locations, use two (2) for (3-4) camera locations, use three (3) for (5-6) camera locations and use four (4) for (7-8) building entrances. The DPS-2 multi-entrance adaptors are designed to easily surface mount right onto the finished wall by means of customer supplied screws or the convenient plastic 'Din Rail' bracket supplied with each power supply. Connections are positive screw terminal type.

ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS
The multi-entrance video adaptor(s) shall be Alpha Communications®/S.T.R.™ 
model DPS-2, or approved equal. Unit(s) shall provide the control and power 
circuits needed to switch the video functions, to the calling entrance station 
camera location. Unit(s) shall be used in addition to standard system amplifier. 
Low voltage wiring shall be used and positive screw terminals shall be provided 
for installation wiring. The DPS-2 unit(s) shall be installed adjacent to the video 
intercom amplifier. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.
