 Commercial Sound/Public Address/Paging The B50 series Unidirectional Dynamic Desk microphones are low impedance units, designed to work with a number of public address amplifiers. The Alpha Communications®/Paso™ B50 series desk paging microphones clearly reflect a drastic departure from conventional push-to-talk desk base microphones. The retractable and swiveled microphone arm permits multiple adjustments of height and angle. The B50 series microphones are low-impedance, unidirectional dynamic microphones with a shock mount microphone cartridge. They are available in three (3) models: B50F (with a 3-pinfemale connector), B50M (with 3-pin male connector) and B50X (with wire pigtails-without any connector). The B50F and B50M models also have two (2) pigtail wires for music precedance connections (if required). |

Microphone shall be a desk base unidirectional dynamic type, with integral push-to-talk switch and L.E.D. indicator. The microphone shall be supplied with a 15 foot cable and connector (on B50F and/or B50M models only). The cable shall consist of two (2) conductors shielded for the balanced microphone line, and two (2) conductors for an external relay or precedence control. When used with Paso™ amplifiers, the L.E.D. indicator is illuminated in the Talk position (the 12VDC supply for the L.E.D. is provided by the amplifier precedence circuit. When used with other type of amplifiers, contractor shall furnish and install a separate 12VDC power supply for the L.E.D. indicator. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical codes.
