The Alpha Communications® model 2WJS-18 cable consists of one (1) pair of #18AWG stranded copper conductors, with an overall shield, bare drain wire, and an overall PVC jacket. It can be used on a variety of different intercom and signaling systems. It is very popular for use inp ublic address and paging systems, both for the speakers and for the microphones. The cable shown is designed to meet the latest requirements for 'CM' type cable. Other types and style, such as 'plenum' cable are available on a special-order basis.
